Press Release Summary: Cultural activities offer unique experiences that you cannot get otherwise! Activities includes: Samurai Sword Action, Ninja, Taiko Drumming Course & Asakusa Walk, and more!
Press Release Body: H.I.S. Experience Japan (HEJ) is a subsidiary of H.I.S., a major travel company in Japan and a travel agency for foreign residents and visitors to Japan.
HEJ offers a wide range of authentic Japanese cultural experiences. The activities include: Ninja, Samurai sword, Sushi, Taiko, Calligraphy and Traditional Japanese Cooking. Most are half-day activities, accessible from any main area in Tokyo, and are instructed by professionals in a small group setting accompanied by a certified tour guide/interpreter.
By having a direct relationship with the activity suppliers, HEJ is able to create quality services and experiences. Customer feedback is reviewed each time and minor adjustments are made to the activities to increase the participants` satisfaction. Most of the activities are tailor made only for HEJ and are not mass produced giving something more personal and a unique service that no other company can offer.
Two of the most popular activities are “Samurai Sword Action” and “A Day in the Life of a Sumo Wrestler”. Samurai Sword is taught by a group of experts led by Tetsuro Shimaguchi, the head choreographer in the swordfight scene in the snowy garden in “Kill Bill: Volume One” and the man who played the role of Crazy 88 (Miki) in the film. You will learn how to sword fight just like in the movies. In the sumo activity, you will visit the sumo stable to see early morning practice and eat Chanko (traditional sumo food) for lunch with the stable master and sumo wrestlers.
HEJ encourages participants to actively engage in the program. The small group participation makes it easier to have an intimate time with the professionals and other participants. It will deepen your knowledge and therefore provide a meaningful and memorable experience in Japan.
Reservations can be made online or by calling an operator +81(3)-5322-8988 (open Mon-Sun 10:00 - 18:30). The operators will assist you in English and Japanese.
